I second what Vertigo World asked, but in answer to your question, around day 51 after mating. There is nothing you can do in the meantime except wait.

Actually, you can have an ultrasound done at about day 30-35 and it should confirm a pregnancy and identify heartbeats. Your vet can probably also palpate at about day 21.
