JackieMaya Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 I have two off-white leather recliners that I inherited from my parents. Well, Pooh Bear chewed a big hole in the right arm on the recliner that was downstairs shortly after I got him. And tonight when I got home, I saw that he had chewed a big hole in the left arm of the recliner that was upstairs. I certainly won't be buying any new furniture until (and if) the chewing stage is over. He sure is lucky he's so darn cute! Quote
drjeffrock Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 LOL. I know exactly how you feel. Quote
JackieMaya Posted October 15, 2005 Author Posted October 15, 2005 Here are my matching chewed up leather recliners with the guilty party posing on them! Jackie is in her favorite recliner next to Pooh Bear. Quote
GreyhoundMama Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 Haha, that's really funny, except that it isn't! :D I hope he quits chewing soon so you can find some other form of matching!!! Quote
imported_Debbie Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 :o YIKES !! Well.....look at it this way....at least you didn't pay big bucks for the chairs !!! And Pooh Bear is Sooooo cute !!!!!  Quote
Malamum Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 :o Um-ah! It's a good thing he looks so cute curled up in it. Quote
Daisysmom Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 Yum, leather :P Daisy did some major damage to our furniture, and ummm woodwork, and ummm floor and socks........ that's enough! Quote
JackieMaya Posted October 19, 2005 Author Posted October 19, 2005 What did your dogs do to the floor? My whole house is either hardwood or cement (basement) or linoleum (kitchen). The only carpet is on the steps going downstairs, and they (meaning Pooh Bear) haven't been interested in doing anything to that other than depositing a lot of dog hair and dirt and leaves. Quote
Daisysmom Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 She actually chewed a spot in the woodwork and that allowed her to get to the linoleum! Quote
JackieMaya Posted October 28, 2005 Author Posted October 28, 2005 It must be recliner-chewing season here because Pooh Bear chewed on another one this morning while I was trying to decide if I wanted to wake up or not (I guess I should have). Quote
courtnek Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 you can put bitter apple on furniture...it wont hurt it... :o Quote
JackieMaya Posted October 29, 2005 Author Posted October 29, 2005 I ran out of the bitter apple spray. It looks like I better stock up on it! Quote
