So this afternoon Stryker and i were out front with our neighbors and their little 3 year old boy. Stryker is IN LOVE him.. he always comes and says i get stryker pweas and takes hima nd feeds him dounguts and everything under hte sun, takes stryker in the house etc and plays iwth him non stop. well the dad John asked if stryker could spend the night with them i said sure, but the little boy fell asleep so i said another night stryker could sleep over... well now stryker is home and laying down crying at the garage door to go back next door...

i think i'm chopped liver.... i'm so sad :(

It's hard to compete with a kid and there non-stop energy. My dogs are always looking for my niece thankfully she lives her or I wouldn't have any dogs.

It is sweet but to be honest in the interests of safety i wouldn't let him go to spend the night with the family without you there (his owner) to supervise. He may be very sweet when he is on his own territory but when hes in a strange house, it may be a different scenario, so i certainly would strongly advise against it.

Sorry to rain on your parade but i wouldnt like to see any accidents which may endanger the kid or stryker's life.
