Just curious if any of you get these? They come through the email once a week and some of them are very helpful, others are fun games. This was this weeks....

Play Hide-and-Seek July 7, 2005

For a little variety in your dog's exercise routine, challenge your pet to a game of hide-and-seek.

Have someone hold your dog until you're hidden. The dog should be released with the command "find!" Give encouragement by calling to your dog, and immediately reward and praise your pup for finding you. Choose increasingly difficult hiding places to increase the benefit and the challenge.

I play hide and seek with Abby sometimes. I'll cover her with a blanket then run and hide, and she'll search until she finds me. I never really taught her to, she just did it automatically. It's a fun game. :D

I get them too, most are pretty helpful, though some (like the food ones, they suggest some nasty foods) aren't.

And Goo loves hide and seek! I don't have anyone hold her, just tell her to stay and go hide, most of the time she does, though occasionally I'll be in the process and peek out to see her standing there watching, amused (if a dog can be amused) look on her face  She's very skilled, and I rarely even have to call her again, she'll hunt around till she finds me, then if I'm within reach, pounce on me and trample my guts :o Haley doesn't grasp the concept, and just chases Goo around aggravating her, so she has to be put up when we play.

I play with Edge. The game we play the most is what I call doggie Football. I make him stay in the hallway and I have to stay in a sitting position about three feet from the hallway. I put a stuffed animal or a ball behind me. He has to get past me and get the item and I have to tackle him before he can do it. It gets crazy. He will literaly jump over my head LOL.

This sounds like such a fun game! :D I'm going to try it soon - I predict it'll take a while before my ditzy boy gets the rules though.
