If war broke out & your lives were in danger, would you "set the dogs free"? :-? :( After watching "War of the Worlds", bf & I were discussing what to do with the dogs if such an event should occur. He thinks they might have a better chance of survival on their own - and that if we kept them, our chances will probably be highly compromised. :-? I don't know what I'd do, but I don't think I could leave Cosmic to fend for himself. He's such a ditzy boy, he won't survive on his own. :cry: Quote

courtnek Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 I'd have to take them with me. pretty much we'd allbe fending for ourselves, life would no longer be running to Jewel for milk, or microwaving popcorn. there would be somevery hard times for quite a while afterwards, and I think my dogs would actually increase my chances for survival, instead of diminish them. thats my story and I'm sticking to it.... 8) Quote

If letting them go meant saving their lives I would do so, however as soon as they went off on their own any sense of reasoning about looking after myself would probably go out the window as I would be so worried about them.
