How does your dog drink?

Ok I stole this idea from Shara (Coalsky) when she was talking about how her dog drinks.

So does your dog drink nicely? Sloppy? From a bottle like Xaviers dogs do? :lol:

Zeb drinks super sloppy. He can rival any dog in a sloppy drininking contest. When we had him in training there was a HUGE mastiff that was drinking out of this tiny little bowl and got some water on the floor. Now little puppy Zebra starts to drink out of the same bowl and we needed a mop afterwards to clean up all the water that he spilled. :roll:

Chaos is very lady-like. She rarely drips like the "boys" do. They're both slobs about drinking and leave puddles. Lucky prefer drinking from a bottle though, I always bring water on walks and Lucky drinks as much as he can. He takes the spout in the side of his mouth and let me pour it down his throat. The other two just lick the water someing out of the spout like normal dogs.

Stryker is the cleanest but all means, unless he see's his reflection in the water then he starts diggin in it :roll:
Zoey and Cody leave half the water bowl on the floor, zoey gets water all over the walls and ccabinets.. she is soo not lady like..

Jackie (the princess) is very lady-like. I can recognize her drinking from her lapping too. She goes lap-lap-lap, lap-lap-lap. And she always licks her mouth before she walks away from the water bowl.

Maya (the tomboy) just goes lap-lap-lap-lap-lap until she's done, and she dribbles water all over the floor. When it's hot outside, Maya will lie down at the outside water bowl and hang her front feet in the water. I'm sure it feels good, but it gets the water nice and brown!

When Pooh Bear drinks, he takes little laps, and when he's done, he always has water drops on his whole face.

Diesel drinks like a total gentleman, but the girls make a mess with their ears inside the bowl and soaking on the floor :lol:

Smokie drinks pretty neat unless we are playing and he goes for a quick drink, then he don't care, and slops some on the floor loll

ok because we have many dogs and each off them deinks fanier than the other i'll discribe by names.

kid: drinks ones in 100 years and then when you take him out he starts to act as if he's going to die, then you run back home for water and he still refuse to drink.

redi: cant stop drinking ( no kidni problems ) she drink and drinks and drinks and then cant hold her pee

nili: drinks with her paws and in the same time wash the flore. seirusly this dog alwas trying to stand in her bowl before she drinks.

eva: the ball have to be in the drinking water, alwas!

aspen is one sloppy drinker. i think he sucks up half the water in the bowl and stores it in his lips until he can get to momma -- his personal napkin!

gaia is very neat about it her tongue barely seems to touch the water. on hot days i drop a few ice cubes into their water. aspen refuses to drink with ice floating haha. gaia dives in trying to get the ice and she makes bubbles with her nose -- that is a treat to watch!

Both my boys prefer a big sloppy, slurpy drink. :roll:

Ben loves drinking from the hose outside...Jerry is very suspicious of the hose. He might actually get some water on his fur where it is not wanted, so he usually steers clear of it.

Bentley ends up with half the water from the bowl on the ground. Plus he drips forever if I don't have a towel to wipe him off. I always wipe his mouth when we're inside so he's learned to drink only outside (his choice). That way I don't wipe his mouth.

Luke doesn't slop it all over the ground while drinking but he puts his all of his lower face right in the water bowl to drink. He drips a lot and then come running to me to use me as a towel. :lol:

Roxie on the other hand drinks rather neatly. She drips too but not as much as the boys. She's very ladylike. :D

they're all sloppy, even the c@t, which i am convinced they learned from sasha, who kind of sticks her whole head in there and swishes it around until she gets some...
