I'm pretty sure it wasn't a cross breed but I would love to have got off and asked the woman. I know that throw-backs like long hair can sometimes emerge in breeds like Weimeraners and Hungarian vizslas but a Basset? Quote

AllAmericanPUP Posted June 1, 2005 Posted June 1, 2005 it's the same breed as a basset, just has long hair :lol: that hair isnt that much longer, pretty much the most noticeable part is their tail cause it has pretty long hair on the tail... whenever i get a camera i'll try to get a pic of the long haired basset that this kid has. i think the long hair is just something that happens every once in awhile.. this person has a lil website for their rescued long haired basset :D http://www.geocities.com/phnx177/Bubba.html Quote
