DogPaddle Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 Zaphod has a small irregular spot on his chin that has lost its dark pigment and is pink, much of the hair is gone in this spot as well. There appears to be a small scale or scab in the centre of the area. It is a little sore to the touch I think. I can't tell if its an abrasion or if it might be something else - anyone have any insight? Quote
MajiesMom Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 Where Magic has had a cut and/or scar either the hair doesn't grow back in or it grows back in a white patch. I think it's the same thing with people, my boyfriends brother has a white patch of hair because he was hit in the head with a baseball when he was young. Quote
Canis erectus Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 How big of a spot is it? Sounds like it might be just a tick or insect bite but maybe it's the beginning of a skin ailment like mange or ringworm. Quote
