I was in Sydney the other day and passed this shop called "Pets on Broadway" - I stood outside the window, practically drooling - we don't get shops like that where I live! Unfortunately they were closed, but they had a bottle of "Vitamin Enriched Kong Stuffing" that I was just dying to buy! They also had glow in the dark studded collars, thats another story, the thought of one of them on Montie is just too much for me to handle - I must get one! LOL

I usually use a combination of yoghurt with kibble, 4 legs dog food and some vegiemite, then I freeze it. In the cooler months though I just stuff it with 4 legs, vegimite and peanut butter (which I know you can't use, can't think of any substitutes though). You can also use honey, melted cheese... the options are endless provided you know what is not bad for your dog!

Wow! Some great ideas there for Kong stuffers! I've been putting peanut butter in Pooh Bear's Kong when I put him in his crate, but I'll bet he would like to have some other stuff in there too! He's always in the crate waiting for me before I even finish PBing the Kong!

wow super ideas there folks! one thing though. If craisins are raisins (think i was given them in the breakfast meal when I was flying back from Texas) then they shouldn't be given to a dog as raisins are highly toxic to dogs.

Craisins are dehydrated cranberries - Ocean Spray makes some. The organic ones are better because they are not covered with sugar and the ingredient that encourages dehydration. You can make them yourself if you have a dehydrator first but I encourge you to make a small perice in each and then soak them in cranberry cocktail or there are a bit too tart.

craisins are dried Cranberries, so they should be safe for dogs :)

I have been putting some leftover chicken, and the kong stuffers in there and then cement it all with melted cheese. Scout figured out how to get the kong treats out really easily, but it makes it very hard with all of the rest stuffed in there. He worked on it for about 3 hours last night.
