First she went to the vet for her distemper shot, gave some blood for her heartworm test, and got some ointment in her ears for a minor ear infection (no big deal on any of those). But then it was time to get her nails clipped. OMD! You would have thought the vet was pulling her nails out! I've never heard such noises from a dog before! And he didn't get the quick at all, she was just being a real baby! My vet is very nice and he loves Jackie. He's very gentle with the dogs, so I know it wasn't because of him. Then Jackie and I went out to the barn to see my horse, Jerry. Jackie had a blast out there! She got to play with Sadie, a young Border Collie, got to visit with everyone, got to roll in freshly cleaned stalls, and got to hang out with me! She just has so much fun out there. She's my regular barn buddy now. When we got back home, Maya was SOOO glad to see her! And she was sniffing and sniffing and sniffing! I'm sure Jackie had all kinds of smells on her! So the last part of Jackie's day was great! Quote
