bgb699 Posted April 24, 2005 Posted April 24, 2005 Between me and Hunter we've had 6 woodticks since last weekend. Whats the best choice for repellant? My vet tells me Frontline but I wanted to double check with the experts first  Quote
xavierandrea Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 I use Frontline on Asim and Free and K9 Advantic on Patti. The difference K9 repels Mosqistoes (sp) Patti is outside more than the other 2. There are both pretty much the same. Quote
mouseatthebusstop Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 frontline / stronghold both good against fleas and ticks I have only seen 1 dead tick on Gladis (no fleas) on all my dogs since I started to use frontline about 10 years ago- fantastic invention Quote
schippsmom Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 :Dog_run: So far excellent results with Frontline. I have a recipe for cheese and garlic biscuits and I give him a few of those through the week. Not sure if it helps but garlic is so good for people and dogs, why not. Quote
xavierandrea Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 OH yeah almost forgot I give my guys each 1 tablet per each 10 lbs of brewers yeast with garlic daily for flea & tick on top of the frontline and k9 advantic. Quote
thornbirdskkk Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 The police officer friend of mine told me that they give the police dogs brewers yeast and garllc pills. He is the one that turned me on to them. They work wonders.!!!!! Quote
