OKay, now my question is, how can I have him inside, without a bone or something for him to chew on? Meaning, can I still keep him happy/not bored? I still will have one at times, but not all the time.

Progress so far:

He's allowed in four rooms, with a leash. When I think he's ready, I'll do another room. Then a closed room without a leash, and so on.

Any other tips?

That sounds pretty good. I'll try that. Yesterday the bad thing that happened was he went in the trash, and I was frightened out of my mind because he took out a chicken bone! I got it just in time, though. I hope..

He also lost his own bone by hiding it somewhere. I have to go find it or get him a new one.
