Two new foster dogs

Well since Beaux left I felt the urge of puppy fever. I can't have puppies though due to Smudge coming to me with Parvo. SO one of the groups I "foster" for had an ACD mix who had pups in another foster home but she wasn't getting along with the resident dogs so we brought her here. She wants to be top dog but since Monday she has learned she is not. SHe is a smart girl who came to me with the name Anabelle. I already have an Anna and a Belle so we call her Jelly Belly since she her pups are now only 7 weeks old. She answers to Jelly, Jelly Belly and Jelly Bean.

Today I'm also getting a Beagle to foster for a new and up coming Beagle Rescue. Technically I'm the first foster home aside from Morgan, the person who started the group. His name his Bernie. He is two years old and will be coming from the shelter today, a quick vet check then she is going to meet up with me at c@t adoptions.

Is anyone else gonna crack up after the beagle teaches her other dogs to howl in a pack?

I might

Thanks for all you do for the dogs Tammy! :iloveyou:

Thank you all but I do it for myself really. The depression I've lived with has subsided since I've started doing rescue.

And K....I OWN a Beagle. There was only one time I had a pack howl going and I had two bealges and a beagle/terrier mix....it was the mix who got the crew going!

I did take a break! All of almost 2 weeks LOL. Also, Beaux is about 140...together these two may hit 60! That's a BIG break!

Seriously though my house was empty.

I'll be posting tomorrow asking for help on how to get Jelly to leave the ferrets alone! (The ferts are in their cage and she goes nuts over them).

Bernie is so laid back...stressed I'm sure...I'll post more about him after he settles in more. He came home and fell alseep at the back door, went out, ate, and has been asleep on his blanket in his cage since then. Poor pup lived in the shelter for 6 months. Today was his first day free in 6 months. Then he was at the c@t adoptions for about a hour then came home and met the crew. He is so asleep I keep checking on him to make sure he is breathing.
