Guest Anonymous Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Thanks kat.. i just dont want them to move  Quote
imported_Debbie Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 :( I still find it extremely sad that the military is hustling them out so fast.........especially since her husband gave his life for this country. I know they can't stay forever but they should give her a longer time limit. :( Quote

Can she afford to move out somewhere else? I'm sorry for asking so many questions, I'm just very concerned about her future and the future of her children/dog. I wish them all a happy life...I really hope things will turn out ok! I agree with everyone i think it's so stupid that they make her move out so fast.. She doesn't have a job right now, but when your husband dies you get his life insurance so they wont be hurting for money right away. I think they might move back to Texas :( Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 My biggest pet peeve about the USA (dont get me wrong, I LOVE my country).... We do not take care of those who have fought and do fight for our freedom, or their families. They go fight our wars then come home to be treated like crap by the government. They should come home and be treated like kings and queens. they should never have to worry about having a place to live, food to eat, or anything at all!!! Ok, sorry..... Quote

I agree.. but i also think that in this case since he was killed that the army could treat her with a little less of a cold heart and giver her time to gather her self and gather her boys and then think about moving.. not moving 3 weeks after your husband was killed. Quote
Mutt_Lady Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 It really does stink that they are moving, Nay. I'm sorry to hear that they have to ship out...I would be mad if I lived there and saw that happening. Does she not have any say at all in how long she needs? Not only is that ridiculous, but it's insensitive. The wound is still fresh and they're booting her out of the community... Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 nope they told her she had to be out by the end of the month.. or i think she has to pay rent which i'm sure would be way over priced.. and i think her freind said she had to stay to then end of hte month for free and then like 2months after that you have to pay if you stay... Like she hasnt been through enough already. Now she is going through the stress of moving... geez. They should be doing what they can to help her out instead of making things harder. Quote

The pain must be way past overwhelming. :( Then, on top of that, you have all the stress of moving. We moved in here years ago and we still have boxes that need to be unpacked!! Moving is a stress in itself...this poor woman. I will be thinking of her and praying for her. Quote
