Mutt_Lady Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 Lately when K goes out for a pee, she will bark her head off. This has been happening for about a month...she goes out for 5 minutes and in that miniscule amount of time she will howl her head off. I'm beginning to worry that the neighbours will think she has been out for hours, while in reality it hasn't even been close to 15 minutes. What do I do? I really am at wit's end...I'm losing patience quick...help! :-? Quote
pyrless Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 Hey, if the neighbors can't handle it, they should move! :D Anyway, it is coming up on spring, everything is thawing, God knows what good smells are in the air, she probably has sensory overload (my dogs do this too). When mine get out of hand, I bring 'em in, or take 'em for a walk to clear their head. HTH! Quote
Ash Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 Smokie barks when he wants to come in, or there is another animal close by.. Smokie hates it outside, well, in the winter, but we live in Northern Michigan, so I don't blame him.. lol. It could just be with spring coming soon.. but maybe he smells a c@t or something, or just don't want to be outside anymore. Quote
courtnek Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 wth spring coming, theres a lot of creatures making nests and stuff. maybe she smells them, and is letting you know. my lab barks at everything every spring, but she has the hunting nose... Quote
