P&P are chock full o' teeth

I'm taking the puppies in Monday to get their baby teeth pulled out. Seems like one day I was wiping their teeth and a whole bunch of teeth had popped up. Peanut's not too bad, because he had some yanked when he was neutered, but Pixie didn't have any adult teeth when she was spayed. Poor puppies! But it can't be comfortable for them with all those teeth jammed in their mouths![/u]

I don't understand, are these normal aged puppies going through normal teething?
If so,
Why would their baby teeth be pulled?

They cut new teeth, but retained the baby teeth, which can happen in toy breeds.

OMG, I've never heard that. That is so sad. My sister had a similar problem. She just had 4 teeth pulled. Her adult teeth came in and behind her baby teeth and she even had one come in in the roof of her mouth. So I am sure she would sympathize with the poor dogs! :(

My baby teeth had to be pulled because they were blocking the adult teeth from coming in, and just WOULD NOT fall out....

I have never heard of it in puppies before - mine have all sailed though teething with little teeth falling out on their own

Like they said it's common in toy dogs. Dahlila had it done when we went on vac and she stayed with at the vets and got spayed,nailes clipped and teeth pulled.
