What quirky things do your dogs do?

Jackie is the princess and Maya is the tomboy. And that pretty much describes their personalities.

Jackie doesn't like to get dirty. Maya will come in with her feet and legs all muddy, and Jackie will be clean.

If there's a layer of ice on top of their outside water bowl, Jackie will lick and lick and lick and lick and lick until she gets through to the water. Maya will stomp her foot on the ice to break it.

If I'm on the sofa and they want to get on with me, Jackie will step up onto the sofa. Maya gets a running start and leaps onto the sofa.

If Jackie has a toy, Maya will go up and take it from her, and then bring it right back to Jackie like she's saying "hey, let's play with this!"

When the squirrels are in the trees, Jackie will be silent, and will sit by the tree for a long time, perfectly still. But when Maya sees a squirrel, she starts barking at it.

When Maya drinks water, she dribbles as she's walking away from the bowl. Jackie licks her mouth before she leaves the bowl.

My mail slot comes right into the house. So when the mailman puts the mail in the slot, Maya barks like crazy. Jackie doesn't do a thing.

When I come home from work, Jackie ALWAYS has to have something in her mouth. Maya never has anything in her mouth when she greets me at the door.

Cricket will get an attack of the zoomies, you know, running around crazy, then she will run to a specific spot on the floor, near the hallway and snarl and bite like crazy at a very small portion of the floor... :niewiem:
Then she'll take off at high speed, tail tucked, and run around the couch a few more times, snarling all the while, then lay down and take a nap. :stupid: This happens at least every other day, and the carpet has been cleaned, and no accidents ever happened there. What is going on with that bit of the floor, I have no idea.

Toby has started with the zoomies. He does laps around the living room, which is hilarious with hardwood floors as he can not get traction. He tries to run at top speed, but he slips and slids and runs into everything. He will hide under the furniture and wait for me to look for him, as soon as I am on the floor he darts out to attack me. He jumps funnny too. All four legs off the ground at the same time with his body totally level. It's so funny. He likes to attack my slippers while I am trying to walk. They are to big and Toby gets a hold of the back of them and just lays down. I keep going and he slids on the floor growling. The weirdest thing he does is try to eat the crate door, twice now he has gotten his mouth stuck. He gets his lower jaw in and then his teeth get hung. I had to get him loose the first time, but now he figured out all he has to do is stand up and tilt his head down. We are paper training him and he has decided a wet newspaper must be drug all over the living room floor. He is a fast little sucker, and I can't get good traction on the floor either. He's a nut.
