AllAmericanPUP Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Sheeba just got adopted... I'm sad and happy. They are friends of my parents, a couple in their 40's or 50's, just bought a new home, the wife doesnt work, stays at home all day, the husband is a roofer and makes good money, can't have children, so they've been looking for a medium sized, adult, artic type dog, they didnt want a puppy cause they dont want to deal with the chewing and housebreaking and what not.... She told my dad that she would know wether she wanted her or not as soon as she saw her..and as soon as she saw her her first words were "omg she's beautiful!" Sheeba really liked her too. She will be an inside dog, the lady will be taking her on lots of walks and jogging and what not(she wanted a jogging partner) I think it's a perfect match, sheeba is a mellow dog and good on a leash, loves to take walks and jog and what not, but real good and mellow in the house. The lady wanted a dog to keep her company during the day too, so that's what she got. They only live a hop skip and a jump away, so I can keep an eye on her, I gave them all of sheeba's info, vet info, and told them what food she is eating and they are going to keep her on that and I told them if they ever have any problems or cant keep her to contact me and I will take her back if need be(my dad agreed on that) So while I am very heartbroken and have shed lots of tears, i am glad my sweet baby girl got a good home with people that will love her Quote
Lucky Chaos Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 I'm glad she got a great home. I didn't know she was a foster. Must have been really hard giving her up. :( Quote
AllAmericanPUP Posted March 4, 2005 Author Posted March 4, 2005 She wasnt a foster  my dad is a just a jerk and is making me rehome 3 of my dogs. My sister is looking for a house though and looking for ones with fenced in yard that allows dogs, if she can get one, she is taking ozzy and barkley Quote
Lucky Chaos Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Thats horrible! I'm so sorry. I hate to say it but my parents would have to rip any of my animals out of my hands before I'd give them up. I can't imagine what it must feel like to have to give away a loved pet. :( Quote
imported_Kat Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 hey Pup *hugs* I'm sorry that you lost Sheeba to someone else but on the other hand its excellent news that shes going to what sounds like a great home. Hopefully you will still be able to go see her  Quote
