imported_Kat Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 A while ago I said that I was going to go to a chiropracter spiritualist type woman to havemy inner chi aligned. Well I found out this woman also does horses and dogs. Meg still isn't sound and rest isn't making any improvement, which makes me think that something is out of alignment along her vertebrae. I talked to this woman tonight and explained and she said that she would see her, so I'm going to talk to her owners for the go ahead. Hopefully my baby will be put right. :D Quote
Carolk9s Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 Please let us know if Meg gets to go and how the session goes. All of my dogs have been to the chiro vet, Jesse has had the most 'hands on' with her. She always gives him a lovely massage as well as any little adjustments she feels he needs. Quote
hicksstar Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 We have had our dogs to the chiro vet over the years and I have found the one we go to great. 1 of our Rotties (Rakhan) had a sore back which was radiating pain down his leg, after being treated for what our vet thought was crushieate ligiment damage (sp?) we travelled 3 hours to this chiro vet that works with horses, dogs & Cats and speicalise in sports injurys Grey hounds race horses etc. He fixed Khan up it was actually his sacrum in his lower back. It was unreal to watch. :D Let us know how you get on. Quote
SizzleDog Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Many dobe people I know swear by chiro - one of Ilsa's cousins was breaking his gait after he was in a car accident, so he kept missing those elusive majors he needed to finish. After visiting the chiro, he finished in a single weekend! Quote
Nancy B Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 SizzleDog napisaĆ(a):Many dobe people I know swear by chiro Yep, I'm one of them. Both my kids get regular chiro adjustments and regular deep tissue massages. It's quite common here with the agility folks and frequently, at the large trials, there will be a vet on site for adjustments as well as a person or two for massage. Quote
