Guest Anonymous Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Carol, i've been told it's fairly similar...although the Mudi originated in Hungary and there are still many found (unregistered) on farms, to this day. They are closely related to the Pumi and Puli, and even to the Croatian Sheepdog. Here is the website for the Mudi Club of America, they are working towards recognition as the parent club for the breed, with the AKC. (i'm kinda helping, although i don't have a Mudi.) http://mudiusa.org/ From what i've been told they are similar in training and temperament to the Malinois and working line German Shepherd dog. They seem like cool little dogs, i'm sure i'll have one someday. :D Quote
