CincoandDahlilasgirl Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 OMG my parents were watching judge Joe Brown and I walked in and they said that i should watch it because it was about a lady who "bought" a dog from a breeder acoss the country and I was shocked at what I was hearing! 1st the dog was supposed to arive by plane it didn't then shortly after the lady got the dog it died! Now she expects the breeder to pay for the transport(arived in wrong transportation after all) and vet bills! The ladies vet said the dog had been sick since birth and said the dog hadn't had puppy shots yet but the breeder said it did. Thankfully he made the breeder pay for everything. I'll never get a puppy from out of state. Quote
hb1 Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 I just worry about the puppys when they are sent on a plane. My gosh, you guys should see what some of my bags looked like after I got to my destination! I dont' know if the handlers are nice or criminals, dog beaters or wife beaters! It's just too scary for me. My Timber mutt flew from Fla to NC a million years ago, she came away unscathed and not bothered (other than happy to get out of the travel crate). So I know that the experiences can be fine, just from my own. But i'm so paranoid about stuff like that. And researching a dog and a breeder online and over the phone...without seeing the living conditions of the animals and so forth...just seems risky to me. Quote
