Yesterday I went into the city to go shopping with my little sister. We parked under cover, but it was still easily 25-30 degrees celcius under there. When we were walking into the shops I saw a small JRT mix in the back of someone's station wagon!!

I was soooo angry, right in the middle of the carpark I started ranting and raving. :agrue: Seriously how could somebody be that stupid? It's on the news and adds on tv not to leave animals in the car because it can get so hot they suffery unbearebly and can even die!

Anyway after I calmed down a tad I copied down the liscence plate and marched straight into the information desk so they could announce over the loud speaker for the owner to go and get the dog.

I wanted to go straight back to the car and wait for the owner to arrive so I could give them a piece of my mind, but my sis refused to let me.So we waited 5 minutes and went to see if they had left, which they had.

Anyway I rang up the police and the rspca with the car's details so hopefully something will happen.I hate seeing dogs left in cars  .Especially when it easily reaches 40 degrees celcius outside.I can only imagine the heat inside the car.

Sorry,I just had to rant

Yikes. that's like 75-85 F! People can be so stupid. Hopefully at least having their mistake pointed out to them over the loudspeaker will have knocked some sense into them, even if the police and rspca can't do much.
