tx2478 Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 So at my home my GSD never has had an accident but the first time we got her but she has been left at home by herself and she has never went pee or poo in my house well since we have been visiting my moms house it is a daily basis she goes pee outside and she has all kinds of room to run and work out her movements...but no she waits until she comes in and we leave for something and she goes and takes a poo in my room. what should i do to make her quit just out of respect for my mom and a habit i dont want to take back home with me... imported_Kat Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 It sounds as if the change of environment is making her insecure to the poin that she feels wary of pooping outside. Take her for a good long walk on lead and give her plenty of time to do it. Also play with her and give her some treats to reassure her when outside. Don't give her the chance of going into your room to do her business. Keep the door closed and try not to leave her on her own where she has the opportunity to poop. Quote
DogPaddle Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 If Kat's suggestion doesn't resolve things it may be time to go back to basics. Treat star as an untrained dog. Crate her when you can't watch her, don't let her be in another room when she's not crated - always in your site. Take her out on a shedule etc etc. Quote
