We have an Akita at the shelter!!


My name is BULL.

I am an unaltered male, black and white akita.

The shelter thinks I am about 33 years old.

I have been at the shelter since Dec 04, 2004.

Yup you read it right..33 YEARS OLD! Didn't know Akitas lived that long! :lol: :wink:

Nope Jeff...definitly not in jeparody of being PTS. He's gone already. Was there 3 whole days and his owners came to pick him up. From what I understand he accidently got loose and was found as a stray. His owners found him and picked him up. I only got to see him once while I was there and was very sweet...well he was actually lazy and just laid there while I stood by his cage. :lol:

Glad to hear he got home ok. Akitas can be quite the escape artists. In her prime, Kira could scale 6 foot fences with no problem. LOL, she even figured out how to smack the latch area hard enough to open the gate. Silly dogs. :hand:
