Guest Anonymous Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Today just before I was leaving the adoption day I stopped by to see this little pittie looking baby who no one had really looked at all day. I felt bad for him. Then the girl who runs the rescue (and who I know) tells me "I really don't want to take him home". I told her I'm broke and don't have the money for an adoption fee. She asked me if I thought she cared about that. She would let me walk out of there with him either as my own or to find a new home for. We are still undecided. I kind of joked with my husband when I got home and told him "Happy birthday baby". He's about 7 months old but only a bit taller than my 14 inch beagle. I haven't been able to get great pictures because he's busy playing with Mac our 7 month old Mutt. So what do you all think? Quote
courtnek Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 he's very pretty...how does he seem around the other dogs? sometimes you have to be careful with Pits and other dogs, but he seems gentle enough right now. Quote

Thanks Cortnek. Actually "Thing" is the second pit bull living here. Prissy is our two year old APBT. She does great with the others dogs (I DO know that doesn't mean he will be) but so far he's great with the others dogs and was getting beat up by a Chi at the adoption event. Here is Prissy Prissy when I got her at 6 months Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Mei-Mei napisaĆ(a):He's very pretty! Oh, I know how hard it must be for you to decide! :D Actually while giving him a bath hubby decided for me. He seems to have misunderstood what I told him about the converstation that led to me bringing him home. He thought I agreed to keep him when it was a "If I can't find him a home I'll keep him" statement. Plus you should have seen his face when James brought him to the van and I said "happy birthday baby" He picked him up and snuggled him. Of course I could also hear him thinking "great just what we need another pittie" DL we have gone over it several time before now and several more times today. We already ready have to keep some dogs apart from each other. Beaux the Anatolian doesn't like Prissy or Gretchen so they never meet, then there is CJ the pom that isn't allowed around Prissy or Gretchen because they are bundles of bouncing energy and well I'm afraid he will get hurt. IF by chance this guy needs to be kept apart it won't be much different than it is now. Just one more to shuffle...and work wants to know why I'm always so tired :-) Quote
