courtnek Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 he lost alot of weight, as it appears to have turned out because he cant eat his dry food, even tho the vet found nothing wrong with his teeth and gums. The bloodwork came back negative for everything except thyroid. he is off his thyroid meds now, apparently doesnt need them anymore. she wants to test him again in 2 months. I am feeding him canned food now and he's eating like there is no tomorrow. so now its just a time thing, see if he gains the weight back and is ok...he's very old.... thanks for asking.... Quote

I was hoping it wasn't anything too terribly serious. He's old, but I've seen cats live to be much older, so perhaps he's just in a bit of a slump, you know?
