We are training our old english sheepdog mix puppy for therepy work. at the start he was terror, chewing up things when while he was younger nevertouched, growling, and not listening, our trainer said it's because he's losing dominance we thought he never had. apparently dogs show dominance in a lot of ways whether we humans look at it as dominance or not. anyways he's finally showing progress. he's not running off, not growling, and listening, the chewing is still a problem but at least he's getting better so there's hope he'll quit.
