hehe, here's a little bit of history from my head.
the stabyhoun (not stabyhound) dates back to the 1500s. it is native to the netherlands and outside of here, it is rarely seen. even inthe netherlands it is a rare sight with only about 200 or so pups born a year. it is happy retrieving in the field, or in the local city park :D it is in many ways one of the perfect family companions. and according to my friends kids, a perfect pillow too, they love to cuddle in his fur.

That Stabyhoun is beautiful! (Or maybe I just have a thing for black and white dogs :wink: )

They remind me a lot of the Munsterlander a breed I think is beautiful. I had the pleasure of meeting one once at the park.
