ESSlover Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 In our house we have to have "Beware of Flying Dog" signs instead of "Beware of Gaurd Dog" signs. First you need to know the layout. We have 2 love seats at a 90 degree angle. Behind one of them is a bay window that carson gets on (its only like 1/2 ft off the ground). So I was sitting on the floor infront of this couch today, innocently enough. As I go to stand up *WHOOOOOOOSH* something knocks me in the head. As I recover from the shock (hee hee) I see carson standing on the floor staring at me. He had jumped *over* the couch. So if you ever come to our house... BEWARE OF FLYING DOG  Quote
courtnek Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004       I have a similar issue with Ford (Mr.Mew to me). Kyle doesnt remember the old cats "zoom moods" and was completely freaked out when Ford went zooming around and bouncing off the walls... "MOM! whats WRONG with him!!!" Nothing honey, just a zoom mood....     Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 lol Zoey does that toio and gets in big trouble she jumps over the couch all the time.... Quote
DogPaddle Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 My dogs were raised with cats so they see nothing wrong with perching on the back of the chair or walking across the back of the couch or jumping up to semi-perch at least in part on a sitting persons shoulder. Its not so bad with Kavik - 40lbs but with Zaphod - 60 lbs it can get dicey. Quote
ESSlover Posted November 20, 2004 Author Posted November 20, 2004 Thats exactly what Carson does DP!!! He sits there like our cats watching out our window! Quote
DogPaddle Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 Its so interesting how they pick up the traits of the cats isn't it. :D Quote
ESSlover Posted November 20, 2004 Author Posted November 20, 2004 Too bad they can't be as agile as cats tho... not tripping up the stairs would be a nice change  Quote
