In our house we have to have "Beware of Flying Dog" signs instead of "Beware of Gaurd Dog" signs. First you need to know the layout. We have 2 love seats at a 90 degree angle. Behind one of them is a bay window that carson gets on (its only like 1/2 ft off the ground). So I was sitting on the floor infront of this couch today, innocently enough. As I go to stand up *WHOOOOOOOSH* something knocks me in the head. As I recover from the shock (hee hee) I see carson standing on the floor staring at me. He had jumped *over* the couch. So if you ever come to our house...

I have a similar issue with Ford (Mr.Mew to me). Kyle doesnt remember the old cats "zoom moods" and was completely freaked out when Ford went zooming around and bouncing off the walls...

"MOM! whats WRONG with him!!!"

Nothing honey, just a zoom mood....

My dogs were raised with cats so they see nothing wrong with perching on the back of the chair or walking across the back of the couch or jumping up to semi-perch at least in part on a sitting persons shoulder. Its not so bad with Kavik - 40lbs but with Zaphod - 60 lbs it can get dicey.
