between the wrinkles Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 i have a friend in the states who shows her dogs (she has an ibizan hound and a lowchen, an odd combo i agree). she adores the pit bull breed and does as much as she can in rescue orgs to help, but her home owners insurance says she can't have them :-( i find this a little sad that she can't own one of her most beloved breeds. she loves her two dogs now and she's more than happy, but i think she should be allowed to own the breed she pleases. anyone else seen or had an experience like this? they do it with so many breeds, i think it's unfair. AllAmericanPUP Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 I think it depends on the area you live in. We live in a town where you never hear of dogs mauling people or anything, i mean there was one years ago, but that's it. So when we got insurance they didn't even care to ask what breeds we had... :D Quote
