BuddysMom Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 I am crying as I write this ... just received the following e-mail ... He went quickly and peacefully at about 1:15 this afternoon. I can't call you right now because all I would do is cry. I know we did the right thing. Love, Mom RIP to Teddy, aka T-Bear, a VERY Good Dog. You were the best friend my mom ever had. Since she adopted you 11 years ago you have been constant companions. You were there over the years when Mom was helping her mom, then her dad, in their last years and as they moved on to the next world. I remember you laying your head in Grandpa's lap after his strokes, as he told you you in a childlike voice what a good boy you were. You and Mom loved to hike together all over the mountain trails around Estes Park. You were a big, dapper, black and white Aussie shepherd mix. You loved my mom more than anything else in the world and she loved you the same. She acted on that love in a most selfless way today, calling the vet over because it was time to end your suffering.
