mouseatthebusstop Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 how do I get drops in a wrigging puppies eyes? we usually have a fight for about twenty minuets once I get one eye done she lets me do the other- I have tried wrapping her in a towel, catching her asleep any advise please Quote

Or....had my husband do drops while I held on tight. Isn't this silly? I'm an ophthalmic technician....I do this day in and day out....I used to work in Pediactrics for goodness sakes! And I had to fight with my dog to get drops in! Quote

Hold her in between your knees on the floor and give her a treat (something crunchy or chewy to keep her occupied). Have the drops ready and drop them in from above so that she can't see the tube.
