drjeffrock Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Woo-hoo. What a good girl. Grand mal seizures are really scary. My one friend suffers from them, and one time I stuck my arms out and caught him like 2 inches before he would have went crashing through a plate-glass dining table. Way to go Faith! Quote
eric Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 That dog did everything but administer CPR. Good girl. Quote
courtnek Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 WOO HOO! GOOD GIRL FAITH!! I just find this so absolutely amazing. I realize they can be trained to do almost anything with enough work and kind treatment. So I'm not really surprised that she could phone 911, and open the door (I had a cat that could open doors. He let himself out unless it was bolted) but the truly amazing part is the "knowing"....I just read recently that dogs can be trained to detect oncoming insulin reactions as well! it's just so incredible....   Quote
