3ofakind Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Last night we received a simple act of kindness that really made my day. We always order pizza on Thurs nights from the same store, usually have the same delivery man too. We all know how fun this can be with dogs right? We usually put a gate up in the hallway so they cant sneak out the front door and they bark their heads off the whole time. The pizza man is very nice about it all and has even commented on how cute they are. Well last night he showed up with TREATS!!!! We answered the door and the first thing he did was hand me 3 treats. I promptly delivered them to their respectful owners who devoured them and were quiet the whole time he was there! What an awesome thing to do, or at least I thought so. I think there are not enough thoughtful people like this around anymore. So Thank You Pizza Man for being kind to me and my pets! Quote

Yoladybug Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 That's really sweet of him! At my bank drive through they always hand out treats if they see your dog in the car, same with a few of the fast food places in town. It warms my heart when people go the extra mile for the doggies :) Quote

Good idea...I bet she has a lower instance of angry dogs on her route. We used to have a Schwan's man...that stuff was so tasty! Oh how I miss his visits :cry: Quote

The Wendy's here has a guy at the drive though that always puts an extra burger (minus the bun and relish) in the bag for the dogs. His boss just kinda "looks the other way" and never yells at him for it. :D Quote

She always comes running for Kira when she sees me walking her through her glass window. Now, Kira always goes straight to the glass window to search for her. :angel: LOL, at drive-throughs people are more often scared of my dogs than offering them treats.:niewiem: Quote

Every time I go through mcdonald's drive through, if i have a dog, they hand me 2 or 3 treats for them :D and my bank has a lil treat jar for the doggies too!! My mailman is real nice to the doggies. I pulled up the other day to find him bent down speaking all sweet and what not to sheeba..trying to pet her.lol. she was bein a brat and just barked at him though lol. Quote
