How can I not love them? hmm...Well I think they are one of the most poorly bred breeds of dogs there is, which is really sad because humans ruined what they once were. Not only do I not find them pleasing to the eye but many of them suffer severe genetic issues and for the most part they can not even have natural births without the assistance of c-sections being performed.

Why not type your comment in normal font size? If you are going to say something you might as well say it with conviction! No I do not wonder why, I know it is because people are easily offended, and no I do not think that someone saying they do not care for a certain breed of dog is a just cause to ban someone. Should I say it is typical for you to make such an ignorant comment directed at Americans because you are from the UK? No, that would be ignorant on my part. Lastly...if you claim your dogs are athletic and even close to the same type that bulldogs once were...I suggest you do some reading about the breed and go to your library to find some pictures of the original bulldogs. Everyone isn't going to always share the same views, why can't people accept that?

First of all K is not from the UK. Second of all the basic rule around here is respect. We may not like what others like and may not like to hear others opinions but we respect them or ignore them and with regards to breed choice its each to their own and we respect that persons choice.

You have no clue as to who bred K's dogs or their capabilities or how many times she has had to defend her dogs from people like you who ASSume that her dogs are poorly bred! And even if they are arent they still worth loving?!?

I see use in the small font size as "muttering under one's breath." Like when you're trying to be civil but you just have to say something ... I don't see that as being cowardly or anything, just a text version of a normal communication technique.

Would you be "easily offended" if I said that I didn't really like Pit Bulls, that I think they are ugly and because they are poorly bred and have been made by humans into monsters that eat other dogs and small children? I think a lot of people would be offended.

Just because a breed is not often maligned, doesn't make it alright to target.

I would be offended but I would also brush you off as being ignorant as most others I deal with weekly, who really do think things such as that. I am aware those are not your personal feelings and you were just making a point, I hope.

K is not from he US, and not from the UK either. we all have different opinions, on a lot of things. I don't think Jarrod was being ballistic. Hey if he wants to dislike bulldogs, what the heck, who cares. Bogart and I would like to say up yours to Jarrod and Blitz too, but beyond that Boges and I don't really care if he chooses not to like bulldogs. He has his reasons and that is that. No need to start a debate about it. Sometimes people are easily offended and self righteous..I say relax and who cares what someone else thinks. You love your dog and that is all that should matter.

I am just curious...how am I coming off as being ballistic or taking someones head off? I simply stated that I do not care for English Bulldogs and if any of you are actually following the posts, she told me "UP YOURS!" Is that not a direct insult? Maybe I am wrong but I think you are all pointing the finger at the wrong person simply because they are your friend. I am not angry with her for saying that to me, I found it funny. I have nothing against K or whoever bred her dogs...I just do not like the breed and I am entitled to that opinion.
