Guest Mutts4Me Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 LOL  Sasha is such a funny dog. She always barks and growls at the stray cats outside, but bring them in, and suddenly they're a source of wonder ;) A couple of you read about the stray cat we brought in a couple nights ago, I posted in the Pets that Aren't Dogs section. Well, this morning, I was in my sister's room, petting Marley, and I hear Sasha sniffing at the door, per usual. Marley seemed curious, so I cracked the door open a little. Sas shoved her nose in, and Marley didn't jump back, he just investigated. So I slowly let Sasha farther and farther in, watching Marley. Finally, she was in, and he was quite pleased to meet her :) Quote
imported_Kat Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 very sweet pics. Sasha looks rather intrigued by the kitty :D Quote
courtnek Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 awww....Marley looks like PushyCat...same coloring. same lack of fear. I think the whole "dogs hate cats" thing is overrated. Dogs chase cats outside because they run. They'll chase anything that runs. But bring the kitty in, and then its different. My dogs are both scared of PC...and they tolerate Ford just fine, as obnoxious a kitten as she is. She eats out of their bowls!!  Quote
courtnek Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 heres PC...Look at the similarities~~~~~ Quote
courtnek Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 well, he's DEFINITELY got Garfield's attitude....especially towards dogs.... poor Odie...     Quote

Guest Mutts4Me Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 [quote name='Kat']very sweet pics. Sasha looks rather intrigued by the kitty :D Yes, and "intrigued" is a better term for what Sas thinks of the kitty. She doesn't actually like cats. All cats are to her are things that get (aka steal) attention and eat before her. They also do annoying things like lick her feet and rub on her, which is detestable (though super cute to us) :) She is, however, intriqued by newness, and continues to show interest in Sophie, the cat we've had for almost a year, because Soph spends much of her time in the bathroom. When she comes out into the family room, Sasha watches, and even approaches her for sniffs  Sas does feel much better now that she is "in the loop," now, and isn't shut out from the mystery kitty all the time. kendalyn Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 Very cute! I've always wondered how Buck would react to a cat... He's never met one before. Sasha looks like a sweetie :-) Quote
