izzy Posted August 12, 2004 Posted August 12, 2004 This morning i found this dog who had been hitted by a truck, it seems that he had his spine broken, he can't move his back legs. When i got to the place he was triying to walk, just with his front legs. But the worse was when i was about to put the dog in my car, i just wanted to take him to my vet and put him to sleep (i thought he was stray, as usual) but his owner came and told me that he was going to take him to the vet in the afternoon!!. I told him how stupid he is letting his dog off leash in the street and he got really angry, we were about to fight, he told me he can't take the dog right now to the vet because he had to work, i offer myself to take him but he denies!! he took the dog inside his house, took his car and went to his job... moron! I'm so frustrated i can't do anything for him, i'm so upset. Quote
xavierandrea Posted August 12, 2004 Posted August 12, 2004 Oh Izzy!!! I know you tried your best. So in the mean time this poor dog is suffering until the idiot owner comes home! Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted August 12, 2004 Posted August 12, 2004 I am sorry this happened! Is there anyway to report him to the SPCA or like organization? That is animal abuse! Quote
izzy Posted August 12, 2004 Author Posted August 12, 2004 I made some calls to the goverment office and also police to see if they can do something about it. You know there's no organization here that cares about this kind of problems  I'll check later in the house of this idiot if the dog is still there, i hope he doesn't. Quote
sarahmyjoy Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 aaawwww you are such a careing soul!! Its ashame that jurk wouldnt let you help. That poor dog.... I am so sorry.... Quote
izzy Posted August 13, 2004 Author Posted August 13, 2004 Well, i got back to the place and guess what..... the dog was stll there! so i knocked the door and this bastard was there, so after a little discussion he let me took the dog to the vet  That could be done since this morning!! i don't know what he was thinking, he just don't care about the dog, he told me he doesn't know what to do... "maybe the best is let him die pacefully"...   At the end i took the dog to the vet and he put him to sleep, that was the best for the poor guy, he was so quiet and pacefull and the final hour. R.I.P. this good dog. Quote

It's a shame the dog had to spend those hours needlessly suffering when the end result was going to be the same. There will always be idiot owners who have their priorities all screwed up. You did more than could have been expected of you. I believe there's a special place in heaven for people who care enough to help take care of those who can't take care of themselves. Quote
courtnek Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 thank you Izzy...again.     in God's book, you are a trooper. In mine, too. Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 i just don't get why people like this idiot get dogs in the first place?! and what kind of so called dog owners i've met, i'm thinking...maybe there should be licences for getting a dog...like some kind of education and than a test you have to pass!?at least half of the dogs in my neighourhood are completely neurotic, due to their stupid owners, and every so and so there is a nasty fight  i'm getting out of here before i get myself another dog, definitly! sarahmyjoy Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 I am so happy that there is an angle like you, That poor pup sure needed one and you were there Izzy    At least he knew that someone loved him enough to help him Quote
Bubblezzz Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 What a bastard!!!   RIP poor puppy... at least he's free from his evil owner and running free at Rainbow Bridge... Quote
xavierandrea Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 Oh Izzy, your a Saint! Thank you for helping this poor dog die in peace! RIP doggy! Run free! Quote
bk_blue Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 Oh how sad and horrid and heartbreaking. You did everything you could, Izzy, and at least that poor dog had someone kind to look after him in his final hour.  I hope you have some luck with reporting that creep, I guess if you don't you can always go back to his place with some knuckledusters eh? :evilbat: Quote
Malamum Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 I'm with BK and the knuckledusters...... I think I really would have lost the plot if I had been in your situation. Izzy, once again you have gone that extra mile to help an animal in need. I really believe in what goes around comes around, so you have got lots of good stuff comming your way.   Quote
imported_Kat Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 Izzy, thankfully you were there so this poor dog had someone to care about him, the poor furbabe. Quote
