Abby has a bump like this...she's had it for about a month now. The vet said it was folliculitis (basically, an ingrown/infected hair). He says it's harmless, and luckily it doesn't cause her any pain. Maybe that's what it is...you should get it checked out though.

Its not a joke... Sharpeigirl has lied about most everything she's said on here.

I agree with DAL... :-?

Okay saw the other post now I get it. I never post much outside of Everything about Dogs. I thought it was an inside joke or something. I'll just keep my big trap shut now.

I came on asking a serious question, just asking for advice... But it's not worth it... So I edited it out.

Well why should people waste their time answering, when no one can be sure if there really is a bump on her side or not? :-? Your other "serious questions" were all lies, why should this be any different? :-?

You saw the picture didn't you?? Want me to take another one? I can do that if you want me too... For petes sake.

You have the gall to get snarky with us? Many of us have NO desire to get involved in your drama again. For all I know, what starts out as a question regarding a bump could morph into a life or death situation....again. There is one truth you will have to just deal with, once trust is destroyed, it does not bounce back. It is GONE. I have NO USE for liars, period.

We also saw the picture of the Rottie you didn't have.

If you are concerned about your dog's health, take her to the vet.

I am only replying in your dogs best interests. The red spots look like dermoids which are ingrown hairs. These can become irritable causing the dog to lick and scratch increasingly. Take Sassy to your vet and let him diagnose it and treat the condition.

Sharpei, you need to take Sassy to the vet. no one here can diagnose for you, and alot of people, including myself, are still upset over her supposed demise. I am not going to get into it, but if you want people to trust you, you'll have to prove you are worthy of it. and that will take time. I am not trying to hurt you, but trust is hard to earn, and it only takes one incident to blow it all to hell.

Guys, please try and keep the squabbling down. If you have no constructive advice to offer, just leave it ok? We don't need any more infighting and all you are doing is adding fat to the pan.

I would recommend a vet visit, personally.

I agree with BK. Sassy needs to see a vet. thats the only way you will know for sure. I am now bowing out...unles a vet check requires more questions. I will help, if I can, but dont expect me to trust. not yet.
