You can use something like Mr. Clean- I usually soak mine. I've also used dog shampoo with baking soda mixed in. Soak in soap overnight and rinse very well.

Hand them to the Husband, isn't that what your supposed to do?? I hand them over and they always end up on the kitchen counter all nice and clean! Works for me!

Ok, he uses dish soap, just a little, and his hands and a small scrub brush if needed.

Clean the leashes? :o I've never thought about it LOL! I guess I'd throw them in the washer if they were dirty. But then again, we have 6 leashes and at least 15 collars and only 2 dogs so.. it's not too big of a concern for me. ;)

seriouely though, I have thrown leashes and collars in the washer with their blankets and stuff and then hang to dry - but Im such a sucker for new ones I usually dont have to :oops: I do alot of the old navy holiday collars and leashes, and any ohter neat ones I find :D
