Slow reflexes?

I just threw K a bite-size piece of turkey and it smacked her right in the head. She was paying attention because she was begging me for some. :roll: So I'm thinking that either K is a little slow or I have a girl-ish throw (makes sense). :lol:

not to worry. Free was trained as a puppy to catch food being tossed. Laurel was not. Food flies over her head and lands behind her, and Free snatches it up.

My niecedog Bean doesn't catch food either. Out of the millioms of times I have tossed food to her, she has only caught it maybe 3 times.( The first time she did I called her mum at work to tell her. :lol: ) She has perfectly good reflexes regarding other things though.

Dogs catch something! HAHAHA! The only thing my dogs catch is air! They never catch anything I throw at them.

My Lulu has always known how to catch food... in fact we have several blue ribbons from biscuit tossing contests. :D :D

Ozzy, OTOH, is of the "let it bonk me on the head" school of catch. There's actually a section in Coile's new book "Beyond Fetch" about how to teach your dog how to catch!

thoughti would add Cody just learned how to chatch food in his mouth wh ile zoey..lol she's a blonde she see's it comming and lets it her her ... in the face.... and then goest for it.. or she will gor for it and completely miss it
