Guest Anonymous Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 Has anyone used one of these "Ultrasonic Flee Brushes," that holds a battery and is suppose to "repel flees"? If you have used it, please tell me if it is worth buying? Thanks Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 I have never heard of them but I have to wonder does it make the fleas flee or does it kill them? Making the fleas flee just means they have moved from your dog to your carpet, hair, clothes, grass or wherever else. I would suggest a product such as Frontline which is a once a month flea control. courtnek Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 they do not get rid of fleas. they make them leave the dog, because the ultrasonic waves are an irritant to the flea. it doesnt kill them. they will simply nest in your furniture and carpets, and find a new host. including the dog once its turned off. Frontline or Advantage are a better solution. it kills the fleas and the egg larvae. dont waste your money. better spent at the vet, on a real solution. Quote
Malamum Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 I'd rather use a prevenative and stop the dogs getting fleas in the first place than having to deal with them once they have them. Quote
mouseatthebusstop Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 I am with the others on this one advantage / frontline or stronghold don't let them develop Quote
