My dad called me today, cuz I'm home from work with an injury :-? And told me that my tunnel has FINALLY come in!!! YAY! I'm so excited! Only about two more hours before he should be home with it :P Although I cant' go out there and work with Coal :( Cuz of my ankle, but I will set it up to my little "course" iv'e got going on and take a picture for ya'll   It's the coolest! Dad ordered it from The Tunnel Man and it's clear! :D I didn't even know they MADE clear tunnels! Although I'll probably have to cover it up sometimes and train Coal that way too so that when we go to a trial he doesn't balk on an unlcear one  I will get some pictures tonight, I promise!

DO, I made all my own practice equipment out of PVC pipe for about 1/4 of the cost, and it works just as well as the expensive stuff! Weave poles, bar jumps, and a tire jump can all be made from PVC, lemme poke around and find my plans for you.

Yes, I make my equipment. I made a tunnel a couple years ago, but Coal distroyed it, it was really cheap, so this year we decided to buy one

So far I've made a teeter, tire, and A-Frame, but the A-Frame needs to be fixed so we're probably going to do that this weekend. I'm also currently working on a Dog walk and weave poles! The weave poles will be done as soon as dad gets some of that rebar stuff to stick them in the ground with :P

So here are the pics! Coal was a bit of a bone head tonight (he has bone head days at least twice a week  ), so I couldn't get so good of pics because I'd set him up in front of it, back up and he'd run to me or go sniff something

Here is the tunnel:

And here's a few of him on the teeter :D We'd been working really hard on that one, and as you can see from the side view pic, he is still learning where to put his feet :P But he's improved a LOT on it! I'm so proud of him! :D

Great set up. I can't wait until my life gets back on track and I can start training.

Thanks guys! He really enjoys it! Although his biggest problem right now is learning where his feet are  He bulldozed through my tire and broke the pully system a while back :o And he's finally starting to learn that he has the power to control how fast the teeter tips, but he's still having trouble placing his feet. I think I'm going to do the "ladder" trick I used on Hazel to teach her to watch her feet  You put a ladder flat on the ground and get the dog to walk through it, they have to watch to place their feet between the steps on the ladder, and so it teaches them to pick them up and watch where they are placing their feet 8) Worked well with Hazel! It improved her run greatly because she wasn't just barging through everything so much!! :D
