Guest Anonymous Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 I saved a puppy that was found in a trash dumpster, along with 2 other siblings who were already dead. Seymore lived and now is a complete handful and totally spoiled. He's a year old, now, and we continue to try to decide what type of dog he is. (probably mixed, but he's got some distinctive things, too). If any of you have seen the Febreze commercial where the boy is sitting motionless by the tv, the dog puts a tennis ball by him, he throws it and out he runs throughthe french doors....that is very close to how Seymore looks. The hair, the way it lays around the face, the trim hair around the ears...lots of hair. Seymore isn't as big as the dog on tv. He's smaller, but still weighs in at around 45 - 50 pounds...much shorter in the legs. He's got some wired hair and the vets think he's got some border terrier, maybe. His tail curves up and to the side of him. BIG paws, bear claws. Anyone have any ideas? Here's a picture of him: Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 That's was verynice of you to save that little guy,.. i have no idea but looks like he's got some sort of terrier in him.. he's sure cute! Quote
mouseatthebusstop Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 I don't know but he is very nice and lucky that you found him Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 1st off, y'alls signatures are all so cute! He's definitely not as short legged as the Norfolk. Everyone seems to be in agreement that there's terrier of some sort in him. I doubt he's purebread, although you can never be sure in these situations, he just looks like he has more than one type of breed in him. One thing is for sure, he's very, very, very smart. Doggy door trained in the first day...he can kiss (closed mouth, no less!), give you a hug, knows the names of all his toys...just very quick to learn anything. I tell ya, though, nothing is cuter than saying "go give daddy a hug" and him run over and put his paws around his neck and lay his head on his shoulder! It's enough to make you want to go dumpster diving every day! ;) Thanks for the input! Quote
izzy Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 He has that mistery type of terrier just like my Diesel. It's great you gave this dog a good home. :) Quote
