Smooshie Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 Yes I believe this link was posted here quite awhile back....from what I understand, and according to the genetics of the breed and Boxer standard as it is today....these "black" Boxers are either just VERY reverse brindle...or something else has been thrown into the mix, somewhere. :-? like this black and tan guy....LOOKS like a Boxer, but somehow I don't think he got THAT particular coloring from pure bloodlines... Quote
snowpaws Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 One of the girls I work with has a black boxer-Missy she is goooorgeous. I'll try get a piccy of her to post on here. She isn't completely black though I don't know if that is possible, she has a few very faint brindle markings that you can only see in bright sunshine, and she has a tiny white marking on the front of her nose :D Quote
AllAmericanPUP Posted July 1, 2004 Author Posted July 1, 2004 Black boxers are actually just very dark reverse brindles. Quote
