gunn akitadane Posted June 17, 2004 Posted June 17, 2004 I have made the decision to try to find my Akita a new home. He is a little over 4 years old and is wonderful with people and kids. The problem now is that he is male on male agressive with my fathers Akita. I love my boy, but I can't keep rebuilding the dog runs and breaking up the fights that are injuring them both. He is about 85 pound and was born in December of 1999. He is part brindle and black, I am trying to find someone in Texas that is looking for a loving companion without another male dog in the house. __crazy_canine__ Posted June 17, 2004 Posted June 17, 2004 Hmmmm I may have someone that will take your dog. Theyve had Akitas before and want another one. They just moved or are going to move into a house. Maybe my friend can take in your Akita. Ill try to reach her and ask. They may not be able to but its worth a try, right? :) Quote
gunn akitadane Posted June 18, 2004 Author Posted June 18, 2004 Always helps to ask, I don't want him going to a shelter, but I can't afford to keep rebuilding the kennels or update them at this time. I will not let him go somewhere where there is a chance of him being put to sleep. Quote
__crazy_canine__ Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 Im sorry I cant find my friends number or anyone who knows it. There are Akita rescues out there if you still havent found a place for Thor. Quote
