The worse sometimes is that Sam sleeps on the bed "backwards" (his head at our feet, his bum at our heads) in between us.

It'll be like 6 am, I'm half awake, hear the dreaded "pffffff" sound, gag. Sometimes its so bad I turn on the ceiling fan above the bed to max.

lol!!! I know what you mean it was the same way when Marley used to sleep with us...although she has qiuckly out grown our bed and I am so glad she sleeps on Casey's side of the room, at least that way I don't get the full effect!!

I couldn't stop laughing :D :D and I thought my dog is the only one.

Many time she will sit and farts, then she'll turn around and try to figure out where the sound comes from.

drJeff, my housedog does that same thing... Looking for where the sound that produced that awful smell came from.
I swear i picked the wrong dog to be in the house with me. Its like this bitch has a steady stream of gas smoothly flowing. And some of em are silent, some sound like "pfffft" and some sound like an A bomb is being dropped. Of course, you can smell it, regardless of the type, through most of the house. And she has no shame. She will let em rip and come sit right by you. Bitch even turns her butt towards you. If you lit a match, my house would burn up in record time.

I think Pit Bull means "fart" in some obscure language! I have one dog that will fart & leave the room., she's not a pit bull though, she's a spitz\pom.

I had a foster dog who would get up from wherever she was when she felt an attack of flatulence coming on.

She would sit right next to me and let go, while looking at me out of the corner of her eye. I think she really thought it was funny when I jumped up cursing!

I also have a cat who gets on my lap specifically to fart in my face, or that's the the way it seems anyway. :cry:

Hailey our dog is a burping champion :D lucky for us that is not accompanied by farts. BUT I have a really gross cat story. Mina our giantic female cat (17 pounds or so give or take and yes we have her on a diet, but she has an endocrine problem :cry: ) Anyway she LOVES to sleep on me and groom me, especially starting at about 2am. She take pleasure in licking my eyebrows till her spiny little tongue wakes me up, I literally have to cover dive almost every morning or offer a hand to keep her off my face. Well one day she was climbing around on my pillow/head and she decided to plop down which put her butt SQUARELY ON MY NOSE. Needless to say if her choking weight hadn't woken me the stench applied delicately to the tip of my nose sure would have!
