izzy Posted May 29, 2004 Posted May 29, 2004 I saw this dog this morning, she's a living skeleton  i was on my way to the job so i hadn't time to do anything... This is just too much, her tail is cropped, so she had a home and was abandoned, why people do this kind of things? :wallbash: As soon i get off here, i'm gonna go where i saw her, i hope i can find her, but i guess i'm gonna have to PTS, i can't take her home, my house is full... i just don't want her to be in pain anymore. Aonir Posted May 29, 2004 Posted May 29, 2004 The poor sweety.. Having her PTS is probably the best you can do for her. I hope you can find her :( Quote
imported_Kat Posted May 29, 2004 Posted May 29, 2004 Izzy at least giving her the dignity of being put out of pain will be a lot more respect than this little dog has ever had judging by the look of her. Quote
mouseatthebusstop Posted May 30, 2004 Posted May 30, 2004 it's sad what some people will do to a puppy they onced "loved" Quote
courtnek Posted May 30, 2004 Posted May 30, 2004 Oh Izzy....I am SOOO sorry, both for you and the pup. It's obvious how much you care, wanting to give the poor thing a dignified and painless way out....thank God for people like you. If I'm ever in Mexico, I would love to come by and shake your hand. Taurus and Jada Posted May 30, 2004 Posted May 30, 2004 Seeing things like that just breaks my heart... I hope you will be able to find her, and give her a helping hand. Bless your heart.... Quote

I can immagine its going to be tough for you but you will be making the right decision, be strong for her even though its painful but in the long term you will know you have done the right thing  P.S Hope you find her  Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted May 31, 2004 Posted May 31, 2004 Poor little dog, its a shame the dog was dumped. It must be very difficult to see such horrible sights day in and day out :( I heard that alot of scavenger dogs in countries such as Mexico and Africa etc. thrive and survive very well. I have heard alot about the "wild" domestic dogs which live in the Tulsa dump in Mexico (I think thats the name) I guess these dogs thrive in this dump and live just as a scavenger dog should. I was watching a documentary on it a while back. They were showing the people who live in this dump and the dogs. They live side by side, once in awhile the homeless people will raise a pup to help them locate food better. The dogs seem to survive better than the humans. It was very interesting and was used by some biologists to study how our domestic dog actually acts in when left to their own devices. Its a better study than actually having to rely on studying wolves to understand our dogs. Quote

Poor baby i can't even imagine how her life was. Here we're having a very hot wheather so you can imagine the danger of dogs like this one represent with no vaccinations loose in the street. If I'm ever in Mexico, I would love to come by and shake your hand. I'd love to shake your hand too Courtnek, thanks :) (actually everybody's hand) Quote
