Has anybody seen this movie? I watched it last night and there is the cutest little staffy bull (I think) in it! His name is Plunger and he is adorable :-) Everytime he came on I was like, "PLUNGER!" :lol:

It's a good movie too so I suggest you guys rent it.

I just got back from the States and that movie was showing in the plane and the picture posted above was what was shown in the movie guide. Of course that made me want to watch it but I was so tired I couldn't keep my eyes open and I missed it :( He really looks like such a cutie (the dog - not Ray Romano - can't stand him)

The dog is an American Bulldog, don't remember what kennel he's from, but his real name is Gunner I think?

So is the dog in the picture above an American Bulldog? The pics of American Bulldogs I've seen seem to be heavier dogs.

Are you sure it's an American Bulldog? The Welcome to Mooseport dog is pretty small and compact. I always thought American Bulldogs were taller, lankier dogs. Plunger only came up to mid calf on Ray.

It's not a great picture but it's the only one I can find. I don't think they're the same dog though. I can't find any mention of Plunger on the credits online though. :-?

BTW, I love Ray Romano! I never miss his show :-) Except this week I did :-(

I think he's way too small to be an American Bulldog... The "Cheaper By the Dozen" dog is an AB, as is the "Homeward Bound" dog (Chance).

I always thought American Bulldogs were taller, lankier dogs.

American Bulldogs are so strange in that the two main variations are so completely different looking:

Wow! Those dogs are the same breed!? Very interesting. I'm a little too tired to read the link right now, but tomorrow I'll try to get to it.

You're right :oops: That's the movie I was thinking about, and they are different dogs. That's what I get for posting shortly after waking up, when my brain isn't quite engaged :lol:

I would have to say he definitely looks like a Staffy BT as well. He looks to be too small and compact to be an American bulldog/Pitbull.
