Everyone is puzzled and it seems threads are being locked out of loyalty to RNP but explanations are not coming forward. This only adds to the intrigue of a very strange situation. It is pretty clear to me that everyone is concerned about the dogs and that seems pretty reasonable seeing that this is a dog forum. People are worried about the fate of the dogs. If no one is abusing anyone else then why lock a thread when all people are asking for is an explanation. RNP could explain what is going on and put everyones mind at rest if he felt that way inclined. Quote

I don't get why some are beating this to death. I can understand that it's all about caring what happens to the dogs, but it seems way more personal than that. It seems like it's more of a hate for RnP rather than a genuine concern for the dogs. I have no allegiance to anyone or any side, but I prefer to pick and choose my battles based on what I can actually do something about. If RnP is selling or studding or breeding his dogs, what can we do about it? Is there a letter writing campaign, a petition to sign, a way to change his mind, a way to rescue these dogs (assuming they need it)? Has anyone who is so upset initiated a rescue effort? Let me know and I'll gladly volunteer my time and efforts to help. As it is, it seems that all we can do is voice our opinions and then, well, what? Am I just being simplistic? Is there a reason for it to go on and on and on and...? Don't get me wrong; I don't care if this is "debated" until the cows come home. I just don't understand why if, in reality, there's nothing you can accomplish by it. You can't change his mind, you can't help the dogs (or can you?), you can't change anything. It just seems like a lot of wasted energy to me. I'm sure there are plenty of dogs nearby any one of us who could use this energy. If I'm missing something (which is entirely likely), let me know and I'll be the first to jump in to help. Debate away. I'll happily read along. There are far too many coincidences for my liking. Though I may have defended RnP in the past, too many things don't add up. In addition to coming off, well, however he comes off, he is giving the rest of Dogo an extremely bad name on other dog forums, and I for one don't appreciate my good name and the name of my main forum being dragged through the mud due to the actions of a few.. We have a dam good forum that is being the subject of ridicule right now because of this one members actions or inactions if he is in fact, innocent ( Though every shred of evidence from speculation to things he has posted himself ( here and elsewhere) says otherwise). Though I think the initial defense of one of our members is a good thing, that member isn't doing ANYTHING to justify it. It takes what, requests from at least 5 people for banning? Consider this my vote, I say ban. Quote

I think a few of the more outspoken here who rushed to his defense could apologise to the people who spoke their minds about a very suspicious situation. Threads were locked, members were castigated for their doubts and guests were made unwelcome on the forum and why??? Because the regular members leapt to the defence of RNP without knowing or being certain of the facts. All the guests were wrong...just because they were not members???????? Not a very good image for this forum at all. It makes us all look rather foolish. As they say "Where there is smoke there is fire". Ok, so now is anyone going to put their hand up and say 'sorry, we were wrong'? Does anyone feel rather silly for supporting a person just because they have been around for longer than others. RNP could have told the truth. He could tell it now but I bet he won't. Quote
