courtnek Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 probably not DL, but since you asked... :evilbat: :evilbat: :evilbat: My first apartment seemed really really nice..I had an eat in kitchen, small, but still nice.Back door that went to a field outside, where the dog could run, and a washer and dryer. It was a three floor apt, and there was a washer/dryer in the back area on every floor. Mine was the only floor with a back outside entrance, so with the dog, that was cool! I lived there three months, with no issues. Then some people moved into the third floor apt, and shortly after, I started seeing roaches. LOTS of roaches....ten "roach motel's" worth of roaches, in three days. I called the landlord...he called pest control. In the meantime, they were everywhere...I really didnt have an issue (or a fear) until the morning I made a pot of coffee, and opened the cabinet for a cup...two roaches fell off of the cabinet, into my coffee pot...I went screaming into the night... I moved out three days later. The people upstairs had 14 people living in a two bedroom apt..and had brought the roaches with them. The pest control people said it was hopeless...the only way to really get rid of them would have been to burn the building to the ground... To this day, if I see a roach, I panic and go into complete ballistic mode... I have broken things trying to get them and kill them.. :o :o :o Quote
